Friends of Glenorchy Pool inc is a volunteer-run association, which was incorporated in November 2023. Becoming incorporated means that we are accountable to CBOS Tasmania and must operate according to our constitution. All funds are raised through fundraising activities (such as the sale of stickers and t-shirts and through donations) and are managed transparently and as required by CBOS. (Funds raised help with the cost of website fees, printing, meeting room hire and activities associated with advocating for the future of Glenorchy Pool)
Friends of Glenorchy Pool inc is not a political organisation and does not exist for the benefit of individuals. The sole purpose of the association is advocate for Glenorchy pool.

Our Aim
Our aim is to ensure the future of Glenorchy Pool and to see that the aquatic sporting and recreational needs of our community are met, without compromise. We will do this by lobbying all levels of government and by publicising the community’s need to retain Glenorchy’s only swimming facility.
We will operate as a grass roots community body for our pool, and aim to grow community involvement.
